Outback Steakhouse Lockwood Ridge in Sarasota

Just got a delivery order and it was bad. The cheese was rubber couldn’t chew it and the bun to my burger was soggy patatoes were cold and soupy. I would recommend a different place for food. Completely inedible

GREAT STAFF GREAT MANAGEMENT!! Ordered takeout at 9 last night my wife's steak was overcooked.. didn't call back because it was already after closed. Called the next day and spoke to manager Athena who made sure our order was PERFECT!! Staff is super friendly and seem to fully care about their jobs! Very impressed with the young lady and gentleman and Athena regardless of the one mistake we were impressed and will be back to order!!!!

Ordered Togo last week and everything was absolutely perfect! The service was perfect and didn’t miss a beat! Ribeye was cooked perfect and my girlfriend even got the extra ranch an bread she asked for! This location is always on top of things! Delivery was quick. Wish I remembered the lady who took our order she definitely deserves 5 stars! My go to Outback in Sarasota!

Great service from John who took my order and Kira who made sure everything was right. Those 2 had great customer service.

All of our steaks were cooked beautifully and tasted amazing, especially compared to other Outbacks we have visited recently. Service was wonderful and quick. The staff was super nice.

My waitress was excellent. She got my food quickly and was very professional. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the fish tacos, onion soup and a salad.

The bartender this evening was loudly proclaiming in her infinite wisdom how there was a rat running around the restaurant and how she was trying to catch it... She even had video of said rat that was proudly being displayed to other patrons sitting at the bar. Now, I am not a betting man per se, but I would be willing to wager that's probably not a good thing for your bartender to be openly proclaiming whilst guests are enjoying a meal. Not even sure what do say beyond that, other than I hope this issue is addressed by the management.

Just ordered delivery and everything was nice and hot but so salty I could hardly eat it.

From the minute we walked in service was excellent. Our server Andy was a pleasure and was very attentive. The food was cooked perfectly, restaurant clean, and everyone was very professional. The manager Ethena was a delight as well. A++ experience. If you go to the location be sure to ask to be seated in Andy’s section. He does a great job. Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in a while and the experience was excellent. Good job training at this location 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Went here for dinner with the SO and kids and we loved it the kids had a riot because the servers name was Jeff and all they kept saying was "my name's Jeff" lol food was great and the server gave us his honest opinion on dishes we asked about will definitely continue to come back!

Overall good experience. Food was good (husband ordered the blooming chicken and did find it on the greasy side). Ordered curbside pickup and order was ready pretty much on time. We were missing one side dish and when I called just to let them know they made it right. We would definitely order again

Come here very often and the food is always amazing! The best waiter/server in the entire place is Andy. He is the most awesome, attentive, and caring guy who treats everybody like family. Definitely recommend going here!!

New person that should not had that many tables to tend with. Shame on them for not giving the correct training time. Starter was have cooked. We shall see if the main is any better. Normally I rave about outback. Not tonight

absolutely great service the waitress anticipated what we wanted before we even knew! and the meal was brought out in a orderly and quick fashion, not to mention the food was delicious! great place i will definitely be back!

Came in last night with my wife for valentines day and it was very busy. We were told hour wait and sat in 45mins. Hosts were very organized and even thou we waited long they had sample food for us and we also had drinks from the bar. We sat with Donna and she was a great server our food was excellent and brought out in a timely manner. Will definitely be visiting again great place for the holidays

Delicious filet mignon and lobster.

Just a heads up, menu prices have nearly doubled for the same Costco level of meat/produce. I understand the pandemic and loss in revenue, but I know outback and their affiliates have not increased wages for their workers on the frontlines, which are most at risk. Companies that hike prices and exploit workers like this when they’re most vulnerable aren’t the ones to support in the future, so until then, I will no longer be supporting them.

My wife and I had a steak dinner last night at the University Parkway location in Sarasota. The food was excellent! But most importantly I wanted to write this review because of our server Brian. The moment we sat down and were offered bread from the get go he never let a moment go by without checking with us and was so polite in his mannerism. Outback needs to make this guy their trainer. We go out to eat often and understand being a waiter or a waitress can be a tough job and they’re busy. Brian showed the most professionalism and did an exemplary job at serving us. I like to tip fair but I’m not a great tipper of course I had to leave a great tip for Brian. When we return to this Outback we will specifically ask for Brian as our server hopefully they can keep him! He is extremely talented and would do well at any endeavor he chooses because of his attitude. Tim B.

My father and I just went out to dinner here this evening and our waiter was Juan and he was absolutely WONDERFUL. I'm a former waitress and he exceeded what a customer would expect when dining out. He went above and beyond his job and he was fantastic. I believe he deserves a huge recognition for being a phenomenal waiter. Amazing job Juan, keep it up! You can tell you love your job!!!

great service came last night at seven o clock and had great time, steak cooked wrong but was our fault for no communicating, grabbed manager and manager Kera was great. made sure needs were met. Sky was very good server made us comfortable, welcomed, feel at home! signed us up for reward, understood my polish very good overall great night

I went for lunch on Wednehotesof this week around 1:30pm. First time I ordered the cobb salad. It was horrible! The egg was in little crumbs and the lettuce was not fresh. The fried chicken was only batter no meat. Little crumbs of batter sprinkled all over the salad. The best part was the spicy tomato salad dressing & cherry tomatoes which there were very few. For $16.00 I could of got 3 full chicken breast sandwiches at chic filet! Plus I told the waitress I was in a hurry. I tried to give her my card as I was finishing but she said she was heading to the bathroom. Then she waited on 2 other tables. I ended up going to the hostess to get my card billed & to get a to go cup. Worst experience at an Outback ever!! And a Waste of my money!

So truly disappointed in the Outback Steakhouse lately.From portion to price but its the lack of QUALITY that really bums me out. It's just not the same as it used to be.Also The "Seasoning" they've drown everything from the steamed veggies to the batter on the Bloomin-Onion.Totally Disappointed ...

Went for lunch and sat in the bar area. Food and service was great. The bartender was our server too... Did a great job!

Very nice Father's Day outing. Food was good but the customer service was STELLAR! We had a party of 8 and our servicer was all but running around the restaurant to take care of us. She was extremely attentive despite all of the the tables she had. She never missed a beat. My only regret is that I didn't get her name!

Ordered Mother's Day dinner at 5pm for delivery to stay safe from Covid 19. Said it would be an hour or so. At 6:15, still no food. Door dash text and said they had not even been out to check for names on orders in 45 minutes at 6:45. At 7:15, I tried to cancel my order but it had actually been picked up and was on it's way... Kinda....They cancelled our desserts, chicken fingers meal and salads without notice! So 60% of our meal showed up, and it was all cold! Steaks were overcooked and not even warm. Potatoes were mushy, mashed potatoes were cold. This was all around a disaster. We stopped going to this location due to bad service and even cold steaks in the restaurant, but thought to give another chance last night. That's the last time. Very unfortunate and the poor Door Dash driver wasted his whole dinner rush on this.

An old, reliable choice for dinner. I had usually gone to Outbacks for dinner, but I found they have a number of excellent lunch options. I was very happy with the unlimited soup and salad. They don't have a soup and salad bar; you reorder whatever you want whenever you run low. The price was quite reasonable and both the French onion soup and Caesar salad were great.

I really enjoyed my meal. I got the center cut sirloin 6oz and lobster tail. The steak was nicely cooked and seasoned. The lobster was on point. The price was very reasonable.

Limited menu as they open up again after the pandemic BS. If you have a favorite, might be a good idea to call first and see if they're serving it.

The food is always superior but I am just not impressed with the service lately. Not the worst Outback I've been to but the quality has gone down for sure.
